Every week the National Gallery relies on the support of our fabulous volunteers, many of whom have been faithfully lending their support for years pitching in at events, managing our library, acting as art class assistants, supporting membership and office administration, and covering the exhibition hall reception.

Before a volunteer can get started they must attend one of these induction sessions, along with one of our volunteer training sessions. All those who are interested in volunteering for our annual Fundraising Gala must also attend this training.

The next Volunteer Induction and Curator Tour is scheduled for 22 January 2020, starting at 5:30 pm.

The evening will include:

• 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm – new volunteer induction and orientation
• 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm – curator tour of permanent collection
• 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm – curator tour of new temporary exhibition (current volunteers are encouraged to attend this part of the tour to stay up-to-date)

Past and present volunteers and those considering signing up to become an NGCI volunteer are welcome to attend this session.
