We need your support!

As a charity, the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands (NGCI) relies on your support. Your donations help us to make art and arts education accessible to everyone in the Cayman Islands and beyond. It provides vital support for our galleries, funds our educational programmes, and helps grow and maintain the National Art Collection – enriching our society and inspiring current and future generations.

How your donations help:

Access for All – NGCI is committed to maintaining free entry to its exhibitions and programming and making our facilities fully accessible – something that underpins the fabric of NGCI as a place for all.  Donations from our community help make this possible as they help fund free entry in support of community-wide inclusion, remove potential barriers to entry for our diverse public and increases participation through initiatives such as site improvements, large print labels and specialised tours.

Exhibitions and Collections – each year NGCI curates a programme of culturally relevant and stimulating temporary exhibitions that provide opportunities for our artists and provide a platform for dialogue relating to our culture, history and community. Donations support all aspects of this extensive process, from development through to opening, along with supporting the educational activities surrounding the exhibition that support greater learning.  Funds also help us to acquire, preserve, and share our permanent collection.

Educational Programming  – learning at NGCI is for people of all ages and abilities. Donations help ensure that everyone has the opportunity to engage with, respond to and learn about the art in the National Collection and temporary exhibitions, whatever their level of knowledge, skill and area of interest. Programmes are carried out both onsite, in the Sister Islands, and via outreach programming which is delivered offsite and online for participants who are not able to travel to our facility.
