05:00 pm-08:00 pm
Free

Description

Can’t make it to the Gallery during our regular opening hours? We’re staying open late on the last Thursday of each month throughout the summer.

Free admission, RSVPs not required.

This event will feature a special dance performance by choreographer, dancer and contributing 3rd Cayman Islands Biennial artist, Patrice Donalds Morgan.

Patrice Donalds-Morgan has been an active member of Cayman’s theatre and dance community for over four decades, and got her start with the National Children’s Festival of the Arts (NCFA) at George Town Primary. Six years after her first NCFA debut, Patrice became a founding member of the Cayman Islands National Dance Company (formerly Dance Unlimited). Other than a few breaks, Patrice has danced continuously in the past four decades, and has taken her performance and choreographic skills locally to Grand Cayman & Cayman Brac, regionally to Trinidad & Tobago & Suriname, and internationally to Amsterdam, Canada, and the United States.

Patrice is always striving to create and respond to the restlessness within, the wandering, perniciously curious spirit that drives most artistic endeavours, and has recently added singing and writing to her creative tool box.
