Description

Join the National Gallery for intimate round-circle discussions about the past and its presence in the contemporary moment, hosted at historic sites across the Cayman Islands. Learn about the history and stories of these iconic spaces and engage in community dialogue about their significance as sites of cultural memory.

This event will be hosted at the Gram Bella’s property in North Side, the site of an installation by artists Kerri-Anne Chisholm and Latoya Francis. This event will also honour Emancipation Day with a selection of notable local poets, authors, and creatives. The evening will begin with poetry readings and performances before engaging in discussions on our shared histories.

Space is limited. Please register online or contact education@nationalgallery.org.ky.

*This is an alcohol-free event.
