Cayman On Camera Opens at the Little Cayman Museum
The National Gallery’s travelling satellite exhibition, Cayman on Camera: Our Story in Photographs, is now open at the Little Cayman Museum in Blossom Village.
Most recently installed at the Owen Roberts International Airport Arrivals Lounge (Dec 2024 – Dec 2025), the exhibition features a selection of images by fifteen local photographers that capture the multi-faceted social and cultural tapestry of our Islands. Focusing on depictions of family gatherings, community life, scenes of leisure, and photographs that record the changing face of Caymanian society from past to present, the exhibition further highlights the treasure trove of archival imagery found in personal collections and family photo albums.
Upon opening, we were delighted to welcome a group of visiting ICCI students for a guided tour of the exhibition. On their trip to the Central Caribbean Marine Institute and Little Cayman National Trust, the group stopped by the historic building to meet NGCI Director Natalie Urquhart and explore the series of dynamic images that showcase Cayman’s contemporary and historic lifestyles.

We extend a big thank you to Little Cayman Museum for their ongoing partnership as a National Gallery satellite venue, and ICCI for their active engagement with this project.
Cayman on Camera is open at Little Cayman Museum until August 2026, and features work by Claire Birchall, Asha Charles, Julie Corsetti, Bryony Dixon, Alyssa Janae Gilbert, David Goddard, Heather Holt, Joanna Humphries, Faye Lippett, Jenny Palmer, Lori Peterson, Ragét Amuru Ricketts, Elizabeth Riley, Dione Scotland Rivero, and Larisa Sved.
