Prasana – Deputy Chairperson

Prasana is a Partner at Walkers, Cayman Islands, and has over fifteen years post-qualification experience. She specialises in all aspects of investment funds and unit trust work, bringing a strong corporate background to her role as a partner within the firm’s Global Investment Funds Group.
Since joining Walkers in early 2008, Prasana has acted for various institutional asset managers and corporate trustees on a range of fund matters, including new structures, fund launches, and re-structures, advising clients through the life-cycle and ongoing fund operations. She serves on Walkers’ Training Committee, chairs Walkers Charitable Committee, and is a member of the 100 Women of Finance (PEG).
Prasana holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne, Australia, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment Securities Institute/FINSIA Financial Services from the Institute of Australia.
Prasana has been a longtime volunteer at the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands, in addition to providing pro bono legal knowledge, supporting the institution’s commitment to furthering the arts and art education.
