Mr Marco Calleja – Treasurer

Marco Calleja is an accounting and finance executive with over sixteen years of global experience in assurance and advisory services. Mr Calleja holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from The University of Melbourne, Australia, and a Diploma of Arts from the Universita ta Malta.
Mr Calleja joined Ernst & Young, Cayman in 2007 and was promoted to Partner in 2015, having previously worked for six years with Deloitte in Melbourne, Australia. Mr Calleja’s primary focus is statutory accounting, valuation of securities, investment management system reviews, accounting and structuring advice to investment managers, audits of private equity, and hedge fund financial statements and practice initiatives.
In addition to serving as NGCI’s Treasurer, he is an executive member of the CAIA Cayman Chapter, CISPA / ICAA / ICAB. He has a passion for the arts, art education and business development for the creative industries.
