Volunteer Training Series: NGCI 101 Online

Description

As our doors are closed, we are moving all our programming online. Click here to attend this training online.

The National Gallery relies on the help and support of our generous volunteers who fill a variety of tasks on a regular basis, including exhibition hall greeters and event and programme supporters. To ensure all those filling these important positions feel informed about the work of the National Gallery and how the organisation fits into the Cayman community, NGCI runs a series of monthly training sessions for all those signed up as current volunteers and who would like to attend.

We have completed one round of the series and are starting again with NGCI 101 on 8 April at 5:30 pm, where you will learn about the team, the programmes currently running and how we are working every day to further our mission of promoting the appreciation and practice of the visual arts of and in the Cayman Islands.

Other upcoming sessions within the Volunteer Series will include:

NGCI within a Cayman Cultural Context

Cayman Art History

Museum Education

Curating and Exhibition Development

New volunteers coming on board will be required to attend a minimum of one session and complete an induction and orientation before starting.

Sponsorship endowed with a bequest in memory of Nancy Wilson, a former NGCI volunteer.
