Description

A Summer of Art • Watercolour Screen Printing
8 August 2017, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

In this activity students will learn the basics for screen printing. The students will be shown images of works by Caymanian artist, Bendel Hydes. Hydes created a series of prints that mixed oil and water based inks to depict abstract images of travel. The students will then use Hydes’ work to help them make their own images with the Gallery’s watercolour screen printing materials. At the end of this activity, students will be able to take their screen prints home with them to share with their family and friends.
