Description

Thursday, 19 October 5-8 PM

Did you miss the exhibition opening last week? Can’t make it to the National Gallery during our opening hours? Well you’re in luck. NGCI is hosting a special after hours viewing next week Thursday, 19 October from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Come out and view the brand new exhibition REVIVE Celebrating Contemporary and Traditional Craft from the Cayman Islands, with a glass of wine and catch a film short in the NGCI Dart Auditorium.

Film Screenings

Throughout the event short film screenings of the documentary series Made in Cayman will be playing every half hour. The short stylised documentaries showcase the rich variety of local products made right here in the Cayman Islands. Meet the artisans and crafts people of the Cayman Islands, and discover the passion and purpose behind their local craft.

The documentary film series Made in Cayman is the result of the passion and vision of the team at Tangram Media & Entertainment and the support of Dart Cayman Islands and Hurley’s Media.

Film Shorts

Cayman Logwood (5 mins 35 secs)
Metal Works (6 mins 20 secs)
Cat Boats (6 mins 7 secs)
Art of Assemblage (3 mins 52 secs)

Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
