Description

Join NGCI, the Department of Environment (DOE), the Central Caribbean Marine Institute (CCMI) and Cayman Eco Divers for a screening of the documentary Chasing Coral in NGCI’s Dart Auditorium. Coral reefs around the world are vanishing at an unprecedented rate. Released in 2017, the film chronicles divers, photographers and scientists who set out on an ocean adventure to discover why the reefs are disappearing and to reveal the underwater mystery to the world. Following the film, representatives from the DOE, CCMI and Cayman Eco Divers will discuss the status of Cayman’s reefs and our impact on them. Admission is free and refreshments will be served. Seating is on a first come first-served basis.

For more information email education@nationalgallery.org.ky or call (345) 945 8111. This discussion and film is made possible due to the generous support of Cayman National.
