Bringing art and culture education straight to your classroom – for free!

  • Art on the Road is a dynamic and educationally enriching school visit programme
  • It is available freely for all schools, from primary to high school level
  • Art on the Road sends an NGCI educator (plus artist or expert where suitable) to classrooms to deliver a learning opportunity based on a chosen theme, including: Art Using Local Materials, Maritime Heritage, Architectural Heritage, Plants and Flowers, Art and The Environment, Exploring Colours
  • Each one hour session includes a presentation on the history of the Cayman Islands told through selected artworks from the National Collection, followed by an art activity inspired by the artworks and subject included in the presentation
