Kingston-based curator Nicole Smythe-Johnson was selected as the inaugural Tilting Axis curatorial fellow. Designed as a year-long programme between the Caribbean region and Scotland, it offers support for critical development of curatorial practice with visits to Scotland and throughout the Caribbean. This report is Smythe-Johnson’s reflection on her three-week fellowship experience through Scotland.
