About the Artist
Lorna Griggs

Lorna Griggs moved to Cayman from the United States in the 1980s. As a highly portable and versatile medium well suited to working outdoors, watercolour became the medium of choice for this highly prolific artist, allowing her to capture the shifting effects of light and the bright colours of the Caymanian landscape. Her work has been featured at NGCI in the exhibitions Watermarks (2005), All Access (2014),  A Legacy of Light (2016), and in Seascapes: Maritime Art from the National Collection in Little Cayman at the Little Cayman Museum.
