Brezinski has exploited the harbour’s varied architecture, geography, and Caribbean climate in this distinctive maritime watercolour. The landscape is composed entirely of overlapping small glazes of pure colour, while the artist has successfully deployed the “wet on wet” technique in the sea and sky to strikingly painterly effect.
