Inside Out. 95 mins. Showing in the NGCI Dart Auditorium. After young Riley is uprooted from her Midwest life and moved to San Francisco, her emotions –  Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness- conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house, and school. Hailed as “one of Pixar’s most creative films ever,” this thrilling movie explores complex themes touched upon in NGCI’s current exhibition Mediating Self: Identity and the Body, including identity and self-reflection, and presents them in a relatable, often hilarious way for viewers of all ages.
