Application to Exhibit Print E-mail

The National Gallery of the Cayman Islands’ mission statement is to promote and encourage the appreciation and practice of the visual arts, of and in the Cayman Islands. To this end, the National Gallery travels Caymanian art and artists abroad as well as having many fine international artists visit, exhibit and work in the Cayman Islands.

Exhibiting work at the NGCI is highly competitive due to a packed schedule and limited exhibition space.  Please bear in mind that the NGCI has a confirmed year and a half long exhibition schedule.

Those wishing to be considered for exhibition space should apply to the NGCI in writing. Prospective applicants will need to submit a detailed exhibition history, artist’s bio, photographic examples of work, suggested exhibition synopsis and any additional information deemed relevant to the application.
At this time the NGCI’s primary focus is on temporary exhibitions and subsequently does not have an acquisitions budget for a permanent collection.

Applications should be mailed to:

Curator

PO Box 10197 APO

Or delivered in person to the NGCI’s central location at Harbour Place, George Town, Grand Cayman.
